There are two finalists in this category and they are:

Peter Farquharson

Peter is Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland has shared a vision which has called thousands to action since co-founding Habitat for humanity NI.  Peter’s commitment to building a shared future for NI remains at the heart of the strategy for Habitat’s local work and extends globally. Peter’s courage to fulfil Habitat’s vision comes from passion and not from position; his leadership of this vision and subsequent strategy inspire participation and effective teamwork to deliver on the vision and strategy both in NI and around the world.

Kerry Anthony

Kerry Anthony is Chief Executive of Depaul Ireland. Her ethos has always been in her work with service users (to quote) “we will accept you and work with you where you are at!”. This ethos has filtered down to every member of staff. Under Kerry’s vision, De Paul has grown from 9 to 16 projects and services in both NI and ROI working with various clients and providing 300 bed spaces per night. Kerry believes in the potential of her service users and in her team. As a result of her leadership, example, vision and clear articulation of De Paul values, De Paul is a place where everyone believes that change is possible for people who are homeless and disadvantaged.
